World Cup Screening: England vs Tunisia

Free beers, nibbles and an electric atmosphere!

Beer and football. It's the perfect union. But add in the England Football team, and well, whilst it's anyone's guess as to how it'll turn out, you can certainly expect more drama and peril than a Jack Reacher novel.

This year's World Cup sees England Manager, Gareth Southgate, putting faith into a team of young players with not many caps between them, but who made headlines at their respective clubs last season. Of the team, he says:

“It is a young group, but with some really important senior players so I feel the balance of the squad is good, both in terms of its experience, its character and also the positional balance.

“We have a lot of energy and athleticism in the team, but players that are equally comfortable in possession of the ball and I think people can see the style of play we’ve been looking to develop."

Brave move. Or perhaps, he's trying a new tactic - the element of surprise - as we wouldn't even recognise most of them on the street.

Jokes aside, this IS a team to be excited about, look out for Ruben Loftus-Cheek who won man-of-the-match against Germany last year. Signed to Chelsea, but having spent last season impressing pundits whilst on loan to Crystal Palace, RLC is the type of attacking midfielder England has been dreaming of - possessing power, pace and technical ability. What's more, he was coached by Southgate in his youth, so we expect the England Manager to know how to bring out the best in him.

It's a team for the future, and what better way to say you saw them first than to watch it at The Coffice at The Brew Eagle House!

Did we say free beers?

Lots of free beers and nibbles will be available and we'll be screening the entire match.

You'll be joined by some our favourite people including Brew members and other entrepreneurs and teams from London's superb small business community. Definitely not one to miss!
